Essence

Original oil painting on canvas, framed in gold

Part of my Flowers & Females collection, Essence captures a woman in a moment of stillness. Her eyes are closed and her face is turned to the light as flowers bloom around her.

This piece celebrates the quiet strength in every woman: soft yet resilient, always growing. Layers of blush pink, magenta, gold and deep burgundy combine smooth washes with thick, textured strokes, so the painting shifts beautifully in the light.
